In Kirsten's Care has educated hundreds of children since 1997 and was founded by Sigrid "Kirsten" Hansen. A former Emergency Dispatcher/9-1-1 Operator and mother of three children, she decided to establish her own family home child care to be with her own children when they were little.

A gentle steppingstone into pre-school and beyond. Our primary focus is on creating a loving and nurturing environment. We understand the challenges of parent separation anxiety, the importance of sharing, making new friends, and learning essential manners like saying please and thank you. These, along with mastering the ABCs and 123s, are fundamental aspects of your child's development, building their self-esteem and confidence.
At our daycare, we believe in the power of hands-on learning. We encourage children to explore, discover, and learn through their own experiences, providing them with endless enthusiasm and the tools they need to thrive. Our space is filled with engaging toys, fun games, lively music, captivating books, and a HUGE backyard for outdoor adventures

- Sense related activities (smell, sight, feel)
Each day you will receive a verbal evaluation of your child so that you are kept up to date on how and what your child did that day, how much they ate, and what their mood was like. Also, often your child will be taking with them a 'home version" of a story or song we talked about or did during the day so that you can repeat it with them at home.
